At least 50% of nursing fireside residents in Britain and North America stomach from urinary incontinence. It is associated with resident and staff morbidity. The assessment and management of of the like kind residents will depend on the capacity of the care staff and the capability of the resident. The minimum data station and resident assessment protocol may have a part in the assessment of incontinent residents. Behavioural strategies are more likely to be beneficial than mix with drugs treatment.
